Need a Budget Electric Balloon Pump? Here are the Two Best to Have on Hand for Home Celebrations1>
These don't do Everything but You'll Probably get what You Need
In the search for the best electric balloon pump we spent a lot of time researching reviews from purchasers to try to get an accurate assessment of what you can expect. We reviewed these so that those who have read the write-up on our Treasure Hunt article would have a relatively inexpensive hygienic way to inflate balloons. These should make easy work out of inflating most balloons that you would need for your party. In reviewing all the major balloon pumps in the budget category we found several issues that must be considered. Some of these major issues we encountered included:
- Product failure after a short period of time [Product lifetime in general]
- Loud noisy operation
- Motor heating up during operation
- Sparking, smoke smell or fire
- Nozzle breaking off
- Weak air pressure upon inflating the balloon
- Sharp flanges on the nozzle seams that cut the balloon Neck
- Lip of the balloon doesn't seal properly allowing air to escape upon inflating
- Not enough pressure to inflate the harder-to-inflate long skinny balloons
The two balloon pumps we are recommending appear to be completely devoid of the worst of these issues. To be fair, neither of the two we are recommending are free from issues, however we believe these two balloon pumps are substantially better where these issues are concerned. We believe, as is the case with all other budget balloon pumps, these pumps would not be suitable for inflating those harder-to-pump skinny balloons that you see performers twist into animal shapes. To get that capability you'll probably need to get professional balloon pumping equipment at a dramatically higher price.
We recommend the Party Woo portable Balloon inflator and the NuLink Electric Portable dual nozzle balloon blower.
